Classic car condition ratings are typically based on a number scale from 1 to 6, with lower numbers indicating better condition:
'
#1: Concours: This rating is reserved for vehicles that are perfect or better than new, and are rarely seen outside of major concours events. These cars are completely disassembled and restored to a flawless condition, often by the best artisans.
#2: Excellent: These vehicles are "like new" or close to it, both inside and out.
#3: Good: These vehicles look good from a distance, but show minor age and flaws up close.
#4: Fair: These vehicles show more significant and visible deterioration than a #3.
#5: Restorable: This rating is given to vehicles that are restorable.
#6: Parts Car: This rating is given to vehicles that are considered parts cars. They will sell for a fraction of #1 Concours or #2 Excellent Prices
Classic Cars will typically be sold with reserves or starting bids.
